Exciting changes are coming to your local church!
REBUILD, RESTORE, RENEW
ISAIAH 61 v 4
Project Overview

Camp Hill Parish Church is undergoing a major renovation to restore it as a thriving hub in the heart of the community. This will create a safe, welcoming place for worship, with space for events, activities, and engaging for people of all ages.
The Story So Far

Church Hall Renovation
In 2023, supported by the charity, Together for Change, a full renovation of the church hall was completed. It was a brilliant collaboration between Bedworth Parish Church and the local community. The church hall saw new electrical systems installed, walls repaired and painted, and the addition of soft furnishings and a children’s play area, all with the aim of creating a warm and welcoming space for the community.
This revitalised space has allowed a variety of community projects to thrive and from this, a new church community began to form. In October 2024, the church hall reopened for regular Sunday worship.
The renovation of this space has enabled a new worshipping community to grow and flourish, with around 60 people meeting each week.
However, the main church building still faces numerous challenges that require significant fundraising and investment before regular worship can resume there.

The Plans

Where are we now?

We are now entering the next stage—restoring the main Church building into a vibrant hub for worship and community life.
Since October 2024, the Church Hall has been used for Sunday services and has also become home to a community pantry, warm hub, and various youth groups. The renovation of this space has enabled a new worshipping community to grow and flourish, with around 60 people meeting each week.
However, the Church Hall is now reached to full capacity and space is urgently needed. To support the growing congregation, Together for Change have been commissioned by Camp Hill PCC to carry out the renovation of the main church building.
Currently there is significant damage to the roof and windows which both require essential repair before the main church can be reopened.
However, like any renovation project, building work will begin with a phased approach, with work being completed in stages.
Initial works will be carried out to the roof and windows to ensure the space can become watertight and safe.

Next Steps
Once the roof and windows have been secured and made watertight, we’re excited to move into the next phase: linking the main church building and church hall with a beautiful new glass structure.
This new glass link will become a vibrant hub, housing a community café, a kitchen, and a flexible welcome space. Our hope is to open this area to local groups and organisations, creating a space that truly serves the wider community.
To bring this vision to life, we’ll need to raise significant funds. We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might support this important step forward.
